Bar Association Luncheon & CLE – April 8, 2014
The Albuquerque Bar Association’s
Member Luncheon will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 11:45 am at the
Embassy Suites Hotel, 1000 Woodward Place NE. With a Legislative Panel moderated by Dick Minzner featuring Representative Gail Chasey and Senator Lisa Torraco. Dick will then deliver his annual Legislative Update (1.0 General CLE credits).

update of the current legislative session.
His historical background, analytical prowess, and ability to focus on
law and attorney/judicial related issues will make this luncheon CLE a must for

presentation will follow from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Lunch is $30 for members and $40
for non-members. Attendees who wish to obtain one hour of general CLE
credit will be charged an additional $30 for members or $40 for non-members.
*Dick served ten years in the New
Mexico House of Representatives, including service as the Majority Floor Leader
and Chairman of the Taxation and Revenue Committee. He also served four years as Cabinet
Secretary for the Department of Taxation and Revenue. He has a national reputation among state tax
administrators, having served on the Board of Trustees of the nationwide
Federation of Tax Administrators and as Treasurer of the Multistate Tax
Commission. He has been active in the
Association of Commerce and Industry and the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of
Commerce. Mr. Minzner is a director at
the Rodey Law Firm. He practices in the
Litigation and Business Departments. His
practice includes lobbying and other representation of clients before state and
local governmental bodies, state taxation matters and commercial
litigation. He received his
undergraduate and law degree from Harvard, and has achieved the highest
